SPRING 2022 UPDATE

So, it’s not quite Spring yet, but I like to think it is. Truth is, I just want Winter to be over!

For this update, Leia just had her litter of pups. She had five beautiful, strong, and healthy pups. At the time of this posting, I’m beginning to contact people on the waiting list. Mira’s litter is still projected and not yet confirmed. If she has pups, they’ll be born mid-March.

We’ve added a page to the website: Future Puppies. This is where we will now be posting the listing of projected litters. We hope this gives insight to our visitors for what is coming for the future of Dakota Poms. It also is another place we can showcase our beautiful Pom parents.

We’ve also adjusted the Contact Me page. We now have a separate form for general questions you can send Dakota Poms, and a form just for the purpose to be added to the Waiting List. This way I can have the phone number field required on the form, which is needed for contacting when pups are available, and still have a separate form for general questions.

We plan on adding more pictures and video of past puppies in the near future, as well as a page where we can post feedback from happy new Pom owners and pictures.

Fall Update

Thought I’d post an update here of the changes that have been made over the summer and fall. Two new dog runs/yards have been added in addition to the two we already had for the dogs. This is to better separate the dogs when females are in heat. Otherwise the dogs occupy the two main yards. Photos of the new areas for the dogs have been added to the About page.

Pictures have been updated and added to the Our Dogs section of the site that shows our males and females, the parents of future puppies. We will be working on adding more pictures of past litters and adults to the Media section in the near future. We will also be posting pictures of current litters in future even if the litter is already sold to those on the waiting list so visitors can see the current litters.

I have recently purchased a new female, a Black and Tan, as Ginger will not be producing litters for very much longer. She is a beautiful puppy with an adorable personality, happy and adventurous. She will be added to the females page when she has gotten older. We’ve named her Xena.

That’s all for now!

Spring Update

A little update.

Puppies are expected the end of March. The waiting list of names is long, so availability after going through and contacting people is not very likely, but if there are still any available I will quickly post to the website a notice and pictures. If you are serious about buying a Pom from me, I highly recommend contacting me to be added to the waiting list. A phone number will be required so that I can contact you once pups are born.

This summer the outside area for the dogs will be getting an additional dog run and an expansion of one of the existing areas to give the dogs even more area to run and play and also to give me more areas to separate them when needed due to heat cycles and pairing dogs for breeding since I’ve recently added a new male dog, a black and white parti color named Solo. Photos of the additions and expansion will be added to the site when complete. The listing of our dogs will also be updated this spring with new photos that will be taken once the grass is green again so we can take nice outdoor pictures of them.

April Litters and Future Expected Pups

We had two litters of puppies in April. They were litters from Leia and from Honey Bear(her first litter). All of the puppies were sold via my waiting list. The litters had red sables, black and white parti color, and red sable parti color pups.

Out next litter is projected for this summer and it will be Ginger’s litter. If you are interested, please contact me about being added to my waiting list. The list is long but there is a chance circumstances with those already on the list that puppies will be available to new additions to the waiting list. Your phone number will be required to be added to the list as I speak to those interested in my puppies before adding them to the list.

Puppies For Sale and Future Litters

We currently have a litter of puppies that were born in December. One of the puppies is still available. This litter is ready to go home with you February 8th. Please see the For Sale page to see the litter and the pup still available.

We will likely have another litter in April. I will keep you posted here whether or not the breeding took and the puppies are coming. As always, feel free to contact me with questions or just more information regarding my dogs, puppies, and the breed itself.

Site and Puppy Update

The site has been updated with pictures of our newest females and male. Please check out the Our Dogs section of the site!

Ginger’s Memorial Day litter was spoken for before the pups were a week old, so they were not posted on the site as for sale. This happens sometimes with the demand for purebred Poms in our area. If you are interested in owning a Pom puppy, please feel free to contact me and ask to be put on a waiting list. I will request your name and phone number and I will call the people on the list in the order they asked to be added. Deposits to hold a puppy are only requested once puppies have been born and you’ve been contacted and have chosen a puppy.

Our next litter is due late fall to early winter.

Here it is! The new website!

We finally got this up and running. I hope you like the new layout! We went with a colorful theme to go with the pictures which feature many of the flowers and decor I have around the farm. The site is now made through Squarespace which makes editing the site much easier and simple, but still retaining a nice professional look.

We now have this News section where I can post updates about the site and the status of puppies and such in a much clearer way. We also have a Media section where we’ve posted a lot of past pictures of puppies we’ve raised and sold, as well as some videos for you to watch. More pictures and videos will be added to the Media section in future.

We hope you enjoy the new website!
